Something’s broken and your team can’t work. We’re an IT company in Hull that fixes business computers: PC and laptop repairs (Macs included), Windows and Microsoft 365 problems, printers that won’t print and Wi-Fi faults. When it’s more serious, such as a server down, ransomware or an email account someone else has got into, call our 24/7 emergency line on 01482 274969.
If it’s ransomware, disconnect the affected computers from the network and call us. We help you contain it, work out what’s affected and recover from clean backups, and our business continuity guide covers the first 24 hours. If someone else is in a mailbox, read Business email hacked? What to do in the first hour while you call.
Sometimes you need an experienced person to look at what’s happened and tell you what to do next: after a cyber attack, or before a decision you have to make quickly. That emergency IT advice is charged at our published rates too.
You don’t need a contract with us to call. Repairs and emergency help are charged at our published rates.
If you’d rather have someone to call whenever you need it, MYLE Essentials is pay-as-you-go IT support with a monthly retainer: your backups and email protection are managed, and support work is charged when you use it, at our reduced rates. For all your IT looked after for one monthly price, see managed IT support.
Most fixes are done remotely. With Remote Assist, a technician connects to your computer, with your say-so, and fixes the problem while you watch. When a job needs hands on the hardware, we come to you, from our office on Parliament Street in Hull’s Old Town to businesses in Beverley, Hessle, Cottingham and the rest of East Yorkshire. IT support in Hull has the wider area we cover.
What’s included
We diagnose the fault and fix it, replacing failed parts when that’s what it needs.
Windows that won’t start or update, email that won’t send or arrive, and Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and sign-in trouble.
Printers that show offline or won’t print, and office Wi-Fi that drops out or won’t connect.
We find out why the server has stopped and get your team working again, from the server itself or from your backups.
We help you contain ransomware and recover from clean backups, and lock an attacker out of a taken-over mailbox.
Lost or deleted files and failed drives. We recover what we can in-house, and work with specialists when a drive needs one.

Once it’s working, we can tell you what caused it and what would stop it happening again.
We called upon Just Gilbey IT Solutions during an IT disaster we encountered whilst working on a Bank Holiday weekend. They responded immediately, travelled on site, worked through the night and were able to get our environment fully operational the next day. I received a detailed report which included steps taken to recovery, the root cause of the issues along with a priority list of tasks to be done going forward. We look forward to working with Just Gilbey IT Solutions in the future on our supplier list.
