Managed IT Support
Your whole IT looked after for a fixed monthly price: support, security, licence management and backups.
IT support for manufacturers
The office, the shop floor and the warehouse all run on your IT. We look after manufacturing and logistics companies from our office in Hull, remotely and on site when it’s needed.
Manufacturing and logistics companies depend on IT in more places than most: the office, the shop floor, the warehouse and the systems that tie them together. We look after all of it, from Microsoft 365 and security to the servers in your building, and when something goes wrong we fix the cause, so it doesn’t keep coming back.
We look after companies of about 10 to 100 people, and smaller teams too.
IT support for manufacturers
The pressures on a manufacturing or logistics company like yours, and what we do about each one.
Orders, stock, dispatch and the shop floor all depend on your systems. When they stop, people wait and work backs up.
What we doMonitoring and maintenance to catch problems early, a support team that knows your set-up, and a 24/7 emergency line on 01482 274969.
Production and stock systems often run on servers in your own building, alongside Microsoft 365.
What we doWe look after on-site and hybrid IT, from Hyper-V hosts, storage and UPSs to Active Directory, Entra Connect, server rooms, racks and cabling.
A fire, a flood, a power cut or ransomware can take a whole site out at once.
What we doTested backups and a written recovery plan, so you know how you’d get running again, and in what order.
You pay suppliers and get paid by email, which is exactly what criminals impersonate.
What we doEmail protection against phishing and impersonation, DMARC to protect your own domain, and staff training so people check before they pay.
What manufacturers tell us about their last IT provider, and what we do instead.
“Slow support”
What we do One support team that knows your systems, working from full documentation of them.
What Vicky Parkinson of VSP Accountancy Ltd said“You can’t get hold of anyone”
What we do Call us, log it on the Support Portal or use Remote Assist, and you reach the same team every time.
What Jude Rhodes of Lawrence Legacy Ltd said“Things never actually get fixed”
What we do We fix the cause, not the symptom, so the same fault doesn’t keep coming back.
“A provider who just invoices and never asks what you’re trying to do”
What we do We find out how your business works first, and review your IT with you regularly.

Could someone send email pretending to be your company?
Fake invoices and changed bank details sent from a lookalike or spoofed domain are one of the most common frauds. Check your domain’s defences in seconds. Results appear on screen, and you don’t need to give us your details.

Just Gilbey have greatly improved our IT both here and in our manufacturing facility in China. They have implemented, amongst other things, our Disaster Recovery plan to protect us against a full site failure, brand-new virtualised servers to maximise the benefit of hardware we already owned – a very cost effective solution which I am confident some other providers would not have suggested. I find working with Just Gilbey is always productive and they are not looking to invoice us but to improve our systems, often utilising assets we already own!
Mike SwannIT and Business Process Manager, Orvec International LtdWe called upon Just Gilbey IT Solutions during an IT disaster we encountered whilst working on a Bank Holiday weekend. They responded immediately, travelled on site, worked through the night and were able to get our environment fully operational the next day. I received a detailed report which included steps taken to recovery, the root cause of the issues along with a priority list of tasks to be done going forward. We look forward to working with Just Gilbey IT Solutions in the future on our supplier list.
